Man dies after falling from London’s Tate Modern gallery, police say

LONDON — A man died Friday after falling from the gallery of the Tate Modern, one of the most popular art galleries in the world.

Emergency services were called to the tourist attraction Friday morning. Despite attempts to save the man, he died at the scene.

The Tate Modern, a former power station with a distinctive tall chimney, is on the south bank of the River Thames.
